The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary at Sleeping Dog Farm & Retreat is a very special place. Made from sustainable certified wood, the acoustically-designed, 1100 sq ft round building (Mandala) creates a sense of peace and reverence. Fir French doors open out onto a rounded paving stone terrace that overlooks the beautiful gardens with a backdrop of the Olympic mountains. Our Sanctuary is surrounded by open lawns, a sound pond and tranquil gardens.

The Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is a self-contained, two bedroom house for use during residential retreats, as a meeting space for smaller groups, or for vacation or relocation rental. It is spacious and airy, sleeping up to 5 people.

The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is a small two room cottage that sleeps 5 and has a private bathroom. It is usually used for overflow during residential retreats.

The Secret Garden

If you need a private moment, or an idyllic space for an intimate gathering, the Secret Garden will delight. It is a beautifully landscaped enclosed garden space with a bubbling pond and covered tea house.

The Market Garden

The market garden is where we grow the organic fruit and veggies used when we cater events at the farm. There are fresh sheets available so that guests can order what's ready to be picked and collect their order at the end of the day. We also sell some fruit to select bakeries and restaurants in Victoria.

Raven's Call - A Cottage at Fork Lake

Raven's Call is currently under renovations. Bookings will become available starting June 1st, 2010. Though not on the immediate property, our guests have the option to rent a cottage on a private lake in Victoria's Highland region. Just minutes away from the farm, this is an excellent spot for extra residential retreat guests or as a place for a private weekend. The cottage is undergoing massive and beautiful renovations, and will be completed in summer 2010.
